Krissy Mougeotte - Arnal

Owner & Event Planner

Meet the crazy, loud, down to earth and the person you've all grown to love... Krissy Mougeotte-Arnal.

The owner and operator of Events by Krissy. She is the woman behind all the chaos and wears many hats in the business. The first and most important hat she wears is mom!!! She is a mom of two beautiful children and a wife to Mike.  She was born and raised in Santa Maria by her two loving parents, Ronda (Claborn) & Darrell Mougeotte. Her parents showed her how to follow her dreams and get your hands dirty when needed. Krissy is not only a mother and a wife; she is also the planner, the coordinator, the designer, the social media guru, the carpenter, the server, the bartender, the florist, the bookkeeper, the HR department... running a small business means that she has to do it all!

After the birth of their first child (2015) and years and years of (free family and friends) experience under her belt, she decided to start Krissy's Kreations known now as Events by Krissy.  Krissy worked part time as the Catering & Event Director at Blacklake Golf Resort while still trying to get the business off the ground. In 2017, she had decided to go back to school (crazy cause she was one of the oldest in the program) to learn what was being taught in the industry. In 2019, she gave birth to her second child and continued to follow through with the program. A mom, a wife, a student, an employee and a business owner never prepared her for 2020!!! But not even covid could get her down!! December 2020 Krissy graduated with an Associates in Science in Culinary Arts & Management. This degree helped her learn the behind the scenes of the business that she has grown to love.

Krissy would not be where she is if she didn't have the best TRIBE behind her!

Lacey M.

Lead Coordinator

Meet Lacey, another one of our lead coordinators. Lacey was born and raised in Santa Maria and just so happens to be Krissy’s sister. The dynamic sister duo have been doing events across the Central Coast for 10+ years! Lacey also helps with event staffing, florals, decorations, social media, you name it. By day, Lacey is a Phlebotomy Supervisor for a Medical Laboratory. She enjoys gardening, spending time with friends and family and going to drag shows. Lacey has been a part of Events by Krissy since it was all just a dream! Lacey’s eye for detail, leadership skills and passions for helping others, adds just the right amount of sugar and SPICE to our team! 

Meet Dannielle (Krissy calls her Dee)!!! She is one of the lead coordinators with us.  Dannielle was born and raised in the Santa Maria Valley and very familiar with other Central Coast areas. By day, she is a Case Manager for a surrogacy agency that helps couples with becoming parents. She has been planning events (birthdays, baby showers, etc.) for roughly 15 years.  She started with Events by Krissy in 2022 and has moved up to Lead Coordinator quickly as her bubbly personality, attention to detail, and creativity have been such a great addition to the team. Dannielle has worked several weddings independently for the last 6 months with many more booked for the future.
